Entry Requirements: Level 3 qualification (A-Levels, BTEC, or equivalent), plus GCSE English at grade 4 or above.

Age: Age 18 only 

Cost: The cost of this tuition is fully funded for 18-year old’s.

Uniform and shoes will be required along with additional costs for participation in performances and trips.

AUDITION

REQUIREMENTS

You'll take part in:

  • A group Ballet Class

  • A group Jazz Class

All audition classes are led by our core faculty. 
Appropriate dancewear should be worn and candidates are expected to look smart and professional.

 

What you prepare: 

  • Solo Dance (2 minutes)

  • 1 Contemporary Monologue

  • Solo Song in a Musical Theatre Style (2 minutes)

All candidates will then participate in an interview with the panel.

Applied Professional Practice

This unit prepares students for the industry by establishing essential rehearsal etiquette and professional standards. By exploring the

real-world demands placed on performers both inside and outside the studio, students will learn to navigate a professional environment and take proactive ownership of their own career development.

Specialist Performance Technique

In this unit, students participate in diverse performance activities to advance their technical competency and apply professional standards across various styles. Through exploring their own practice and the work of significant practitioners, students will refine their analytical skills and consider how artistic choices influence the audience experience.

UNIT

Specialist Performance Project

This final unit empowers students to realise their professional ambitions by initiating, rehearsing, and executing a specialist performance project.

By exploring a self-defined area of practice, students will integrate their technical skills and professional knowledge to manage every aspect of the production, from identifying objectives and managing resources to delivering a final outcome for a specific audience.
